CENTENARY OF A RICCARTON CHURCH.—The centennial celebrations of St. Peter's parish, Upper Riccarton, will begin on Easter Day. This photograph was taken in 1928 before the demolition of the last part of the original wooden church, which was erected in 1857-58. The old church was consecrated on April 6, 1858.
