CABINET MINISTER MARRIED
Many Friends Attend (New Zealand Press Association) WELLINGTON, April 1. Many friends and well-wishers attended the wedding of the Act-ing-Prime Minister (Mr Skinner) and Miss Lois Mehaffey at the Basilica of the Sacred Heart in Wellington this afternoon. The best man was Mr C. Reilly, of Takaka, and Mrs Reilly was the matron of honour. Mr and Mrs Skinner were married by the Rev. Father D. O’Sullivan. The reception, held at the home of the Acting-Prime Minister, was attended by a large gathering, which included the Minister of Labour (Mr Hackett), the Minister of Finance (Mr Nordmeyer). the Minister of Railways <Mr Moohan), the Minister of Education (Mr Skoglund), the Minister of Customs (Mr Boord), the Minister of Industries and Commerce (Mr Holloway), the Minister of Justice (Mr Mason), and the Minister of Housing (Mr Fox). Among the guests were Mrs Nash, the sister of the bride. Miss E. Mehaffey, Mr F. P. Walsh, Judge Dalgleish, Mr J. D. Johnson. Mr A Ward. Mr F’ Hayward Mr C. Dow. Mr M. Sullivan. Mr S. Mann. Mr N R. Webb. Mr F T. Barber, Mr F. Baker. Mr A Macdonald, and Mr C. Shaney.
