COMMERCIAL Quiet Day Again On ’Change

Another day of little activity was seen on the Christchurch Stock Exchange yesterday. Ten stocks were traded, mostly in small parcels. Prices were variable. Woolworths gained 3d and 6d respectively in sales at 16s and 16s 3d, and other stocks to.firm were Ampol and National Bank. G. J. Coles, New Zealand Forests, National Insurance and Coulls, Somerville, Wilkie rights were easier.
