DECORATED EGGS FOR WORLD FAIR.—The Moravian-Slovak border areas in middle Europe are noted for their folklore and customs, and among the villagers one of the most popular is the decorative painting of Easter eggs. The designs, in striking colours, are always original. In this photograph, three generations are at work decorating eggs in the village of Ostrozska Nova Ves. A special exhibition of these decorated eggs will be shown at the Brussels World Fair this month.
