ATOM TESTS BY SOVIET
Six Announced In Nine Days
i Rec. 8 p.m.) WASHINGTON, March 23. The Atomic Energy Commission
last night announced the detection of a nuclear weapons test by Russia, the third in three days. The test took place in Siberia yesterday and appeared to have been in the medium range,, the commission said. The announcement last night followed one on Friday which said a test had been detected on that day and on the day before. The commission has announced six such tests in the last nine day*.
