Youth Seriously Hurt On Tractor
(New Zealand Press Association) OAMARU, March 21. Serious head and chest injuries were received by Ivan James Eckhold, aged 15, of Ngapara when he met with an accident while working a tractor on Wednesday afternoon. The accident occurred on the property of Mr J. R. McCulloch, of Ngapara. The cause of the accident has not been ascertained but at the time a digger was attached to the tractor The youth was rushed to the Oamaru Public Hospital where he was admitted at 3.4fi p.m. His condition today was reported to be improving.
