Polo TWO WINS FOR N.S.W. Poverty Bay Teams Beaten
(New Zealand Press Association) GISBORNE. March 20 The New South Wales polo team beat Poverty Bay A, 5-2. in a special six-chukka match at Bushmere today. Later the visitors beat Poverty Bay B. 5-1. in a fcur-chukka match. The ground was-hard and dusty. The tourists’ superior positional play, accurate hitting, and backing up were the deciding factors in the match against the A team, which had two internationals. Wynn and Woodbine Sherratt.
For New South Wales, I. Murray. J. Sinclair-Hill, and- R. Dooling (3) scored goals. C. Seymour and Wynn Sherratt scored for Poverty. Bay A. j
