Baby Toes And Well Cut "The Press" Special Service INVERCARGILL, March 20. Although there has been rain during the week, and the track was greasy this morning, there is every indication oi good going for the Birchwood Hunt Club’s annual meeting at Invercargill on Saturday. It will mark the opening of the steeplechase season in the south. The Fluke is unlikely to start in theh Hazlett Memorial Steeples. The Sloucher, which broke a leg during the week, is out of the High-weight Handicap. Vaper is to start in the High-weight Handicap in preference to the Kennels Hack Handicap. A decision on plans for Capet had not been made today. He is engaged in both the High-weight Handicap and the Gardner Memorial Steeplechase. The double is on the High-weight Handicap and the President’s Handicap, for which Baby Toes and Well Cut may be the favourites. Riding engagements include:— Mr M. Hazlett: Naughty Boy. Mr M.
