Second Earl’s Quick Recovery

Second Earl, is recovering well from Jbe injuries which he suffered at New Plymouth last' week and he will moBt likely attend the track at Takanini tomorrow morning. His trainers, W. F. Clifton and L. Parkes, are hopeful that he will be able to manage light exercise. Second Earl returned from New Plymouth on Tuesdav. Once he recovered from the shock of his accident he picked up quickly and during the last few days, according to Clifton. "He hasn’t left an oat.’’ The cuts he received are healing and the main worry now is whether he has shaken off the lameness which an injured shoulder is | thought to have caused him.
