Clothing Stolen At Kaiapoi
Thieves smashed a showroom window in Blackwell’s drapery shop at i».aiapoi on Tuesday night, entered the shop and removed £2OO worth of men’s clothing. The windew was in the bay of a doorway off the street. The clothing included suits, coats and trousers, jerseys and shirts. The Criminal Investigation Branch, Christchurch, inquired into the theft yesterday. Some of the clothing was discarded by the thieves and was found in the Cam river.
