Provincial Scout Rally

The 1958 Canterbury scout rally will be held at the Show Grounds tomorrow. The cubs will meet in the morning, and the scouts will begin with a march past at 1.30 p.m. ’ The flag which was taken over the South Pole in 1956 by R. B. O’Neill, a former King’s Scout, will be awarded to the troop giving the best performance in the march past. The provincial trophy will be given to the troop with the highest aggregate points. The Provincial Commissioner’s Troop title will go this year to the troop with the best record, and allowance will be made for performance in other events during the year.
