Record Entry Of 305 . (From Our Own Reporter) TEMUKA, March 19. Among a record entry of 305 for the Temuka national dancing competitions were competitors from Rangiora, Christchurch, Ashburton, and Timaru, as well as all parts of South Canterbury. There was a good attendance of spectators. The judge, Mrs Jewel McKay (Christchurch), said the standard of dancing was excellent, and many of the best South Island performers were present.

The piper was Mr Donald Bowman, of Waimate.
