The following officers were elected at the annual meeting of the Shirley branch of the New Zealand Labour Party held recently:—president, Mr T. P. Ryder;. vice-president, Mr V. Rowlands; secretary-treasurer, Mr C. C. Crutch; executive, Misses N. S. Hansen, J. Hamilton-Mangin, G. P. Banks, Mesdames M. Ryder and A. Rowlands; inter-branch council. Misses V. Rowlands, T. Ryder, J. Harbridge, and Mrs M. Ryder; delegates to L.R.C., Misses T. Ryder and N. S. Hansen; delegates to conference, Mr T. Ryder and Mr N. G. Pickering, M.P.
