(N.Z. Press Association —Copyright) ADELAIDE, March 19. Prices on the second day of the ninth Adelaide wool sales today were generally firm on opening rates yesterday. Very even bidding between the United Kingdom, the Continent, Australian mills and Japan were reoorted. Of the 15.177 bales offered. 14,487 were sold. Price range: 70’s. 74|d to 81 d; 64’s. 721 d to 83] d: 69’s. 72|d to 83]-d: 58’s. 591 d to 79d; 56’s, 54d to 72d.

Australian Wool Sales.—The Western Australian Wool Produce Brokers’ Association yesterday announced the cancellation of the wool sale scheduled for Anril 14. 15, and 16. The next sale will be May 9. 10. and 11. The March sale was the largest post-war sale in Perth, and there is now insufficient wool available for April.—(P.A.)
