NEW SOURCES OF INCOME
Natural Resources In N.Z. (New Zealand Press Association) WELLINGTON, March 18. A suggestion of possible new sources of income for New Zealand was made in an address this afternoon by the Minister of Finance (Mr Nordmeyer) to the Institute of Public Administration. It was important the State should use to the full all natural resources, which would otherwise remain unused, to maintain the economic health of the community. “It could well be that opportunities will open up in the not very far distant future for the development of natural resources that have not been tapped and used to the full in the past and which may have a considerable influence on our economy,” he said.
