Cemeteries
Sir, —Lately I have met people from America, Australia, and other parts who have visited Christchurch and have been most impressed by the beauty of the private gardens. The other day I had occasion to pass through three of our cemeteries. I did wish that those who had taught us in Christchurch the love of orderly beauty could have been remembered in tokens of the same beauty.—Yours, etc., L.W.J. March 18, 1958.
