Communist Mayor For Bombay
(N.Z. Press Association—Copyright) BOMBAY, March 17. Bombay, India’s second largest city, with a population of about 3,000,000, is to have a Communist Mayor, Mr S. C. Mirajkar. He is the nominee of a group of mainly left wing parties which controls the Municipal Corporation, and he is assured of election early next month.
