Rain again interferred with Wellington cricket yesterday when the top four teams met the bottom four in the final series of matches for the season. Only two hours of play was possible. A feature was the dashing century by the former Canterbury and Wellington Brabin Shield captain, J. W. Clarke, who now has the highest aggregate of runs tor the season in club games. T. S Malloch took four wickets for 59 runs to give him a total of 51 wickets, which looks like being the top aggregate for the season. Grange virtually won the Otago Cricket Association’s competition yesterday.
