PUBLIC IMPRESSED BY NEW STREET INSPECTED BY HUNDREDS ;V.. - The opening of houses for public inspection in Woolley Street this week is proving a huge success. Many people, previously unaware that such an attractive area existed, have made a point of congratulating the organisers, Messrs Reg, Muirson, Ltd., on a really outstanding effort. They in their turn are pleased to have provided the opportunity for the public of Christchurch to view what they consider to be an example of what can be done to provide quality homes combining beauty and utility at moderate cost. An interesting feature of this street is the provision of front fences, no two of which are the same. Small shrubs planted at the gateways complete the finishing touch.
