Farmers’ Remit On Freights
The Thames sub-branch of Federated Farmers passed a remit yesterday ‘‘That in view of the recent steep increase of profits of the Union Steam Ship Company an investigation into the recent increase of freight charges on overseas produce be made by the federation executive.”
