Sir John Allum Urges Extra Effort (New Zealand Press Association) AUCKLAND, March 9. An extra effort to obtain support to send a trade mission to Australia should have been made ■ before the matter was deferred ’ for six months, the president of ‘ the Auckland Chamber of Com- ! merce (Sir John Allum) said yes- ‘ terday. He was commenting on yester- ’ day’s statement by the Minister ’ of Commerce (Mr Holloway), who ’ announced that insufficient sup--1 port had been coming forward. 1 The import restrictions had created difficulties.
