(6) That the rate payable for brokerage, underwriting and procuration fees in respect of the raising of the said loan or any part thereof shall not in the aggregate exceed one half per centum (} p.c.) of any amount raised. (7) That for the security of the said loan and interest thereon as aforesaid, and for the purpose of securing payment of the debentures and/or stock and Interest and other charges thereon, a Special Annual Recurring Rate of one decimal nought four three (1.043) pence in the £ shall be permanently appropriated and pledged, such rate being upon and calculated on the rateable value (on the basis of unimproved value) and levied over all rateable property within the Borough of Rangiora. It is hereby further publicly notified that a poll of ratepayers is required to be taken if 5 per cent, of the ratepayers of the Borough so demand, by writing under their hands delivered or sent by post to the undersigned before the date fixed for the confirmation of the resolution herein before mentioned.
