COMPLAINT ABOUT ROAD
Residents’ Petition To City Council More' than 30 Edgeware road residents are tired of dust swirling into their homes from a section of £oad from Springfield road to Caledonian road. They have signed a petition requesting the City Council to repair the road before it is affected by winter weather. Work involved in the laying-of the northern relidf sewer affected this section of road, but, residents say, this work was completed before Christmas. Since then the road has been left in a poor condition for traffic, and has caused increasing dust problems for householders, many of whom are forced to water their home frontages two and three tirpes a day to keep the dust down. The petition the residents have sighed will be handed to Cr. W. J. Cowles, who, the residents hope, will present it to the council at a meeting tonight.
