Burke Passes 1000 Runs For Tour (N.Z. Press Association—Copyright) CAPE TOWN, March 8. J. Burke, in scoring 81 today brought his total of runs for the tour to 1028. But in doing so he bored the crowd, which nad expected more entertainment from the Australians in the last match of their tour—against South African Universities. At stumps, Australia was 289 for nine wickets. Burke batted nearly three and three-quarter hours for his 81. He hit nine 4’s Earlier, N. Harvey, C. McDonald and P.
