SOD SEEDER AT WORK.—An Australian designed sod seeder, which is a combination of a chisel plough and drill is shown at work on Darenel Farm, the property of Mr J. Boyd-Clark at Waipara in North Canterbury. This machine introduces seed and fertiliser into country without preliminary working and is of a type which can play an important part in improving native and marginal country that can be reached with the crawler tractor.
