First Grade Cricket
Matches in the ninth round of the Canterbury Cricket Association’s senior competition, begun on March 1, will be concluded today. The scores at the close of play last Saturday were:— Lancaster Park 224; Old Collegians 90 for three wickets, at Lancaster Park. Sydenham 294; Riccarton 59 for three wickets, at Sydenham Park. East Christchurch 112 and 108 for five wickets; Old Boys 109, at Hagley No. 3. West Christchurch-Univer-sity 255; St. Albans 90 for three wickets, at Hagley No. 1.
