Yachting WORLD 18-FOOT CHAMPIONSHIPS
N.S.W. Boats In First Three Places In Heat (N.Z. Press Association—Copyright) SYDNEY, March 7. New South Wales boats filled the first three places today in the fourth heat of the 18-foot world championships in Sydney Harbour. Results were: Toogara (N.S.W.) 1, Jantzen Girl (N.S.W.) 2, S.M.V. (N.S.W.) 3, Mahjong (New Zealand) 4, Jenny VI (Queensland) 5, Quintet (N.Z.) 6, Result (N.Z.) 7, Envy (N.Z.) 8, H.P. (Queensland) 9, Buccaneer (Queensland) 10. A Parisian, charged with horsestealing, explained: “I did it so I could climb up on the horse. I’m suffering from asthma and need: altitude to breathe.”
