Tutorial Classes Planned
When the Christchurch Federated Business and Professional Women’s Club met last evening the president (Miss H. Melville) announced that it was planned to hold tutorial classes to develop the federation’s international theme for the year of “Emerging Women and Our Widespread Family.” The course will be organised by the Adult Education Department of the University of Canterbury Miss Melville said countries affiliated through the international federation would be studied, including Italy, France, Austria and the Netherlands. Arrangements were made at the meeting for a visit to Ashburton for the inaugural meeting of a Federated Business and Professional Women’s Club there on March 15.
