Commencing 1 P.M. MR R. A. WILKINS, who has been forced to give up milking owing to ill health. has instructed Pyne, Gould, Guinness Ltd., to hold a clearing sale of his TOWN SUPPLY HERD. TOWN SUPPLY HERD. The cows are mainly Friesian and Shorthorn cross and a big proportion are either, milking heifers or due for their Second calf. They have been T.B. tested over a period of eight years during which time there has been only one reactor. All have been inoculated against contagious abortion. Last winter thirty-two milking cows averaged 95 gallons milk daily. Average test for season, 4.1 per cent. The Herd comprises: 7 COWS and 9 HEIFERS, in full profit since August-September. 24'COWS of which more than half are due for their second calf and all are due between March 1 and April 15. 3-year-old Pure-bred Milking Shorthorn Bull. 400 Bales Meadow Hay. 2 Stack Covers 24 x 24ft. 2 Stack Covers 18 x 24ft.
