Search For Missing Dunedin Boy
(New Zealana Press Association) DUNEDIN, January 28. Members of the St. Clair Surf Club have been called in to help police in the search for Bruce Charles Davie, the 16-year-old Dunedin schoolboy, who has been missing from his home at 7 Mosgiel street, Mornington, for more than a week. Two men on surf-skis this morning investigated a report that an object—possibly the boy’s body—had been seen in the water to the west of the St. Clair beach. Last night Sergeant G. P. Dwan and Constable A. L. Reid unsuccessfully scoured the cliffs and caves at Tunnel beach after two boyi reported hearing cries on Sunday afternoon.
