CLASHES IN MOROCCO
Liberation Army Claims Successes (Rec. 12.15 a.m.) RABAT (Morocco), January 21 The Liberation Army of the Moroccan Sahara claims to have killed 600 Spanish troops in a two-day battle, the American Associated Press reported today. According to the agency, a communique issued by the Army’s high command in Rabat last night said that the clash was at Msid and Adjir, near El Aiun, capital of the Spanish Saharan territories, a week ago. The Liberation Army is an irregular military force which has never come under the control of King Mohammed V. Its communique was reported to have said the surprise attack was launched on El Aiun on January 10 when 26 shells fired Wto the Spanish fortress touched off a violent explosion ■ -th the arms depot. .
