Liberation Army Claims Successes (Rec. 12.15 a.m.) RABAT (Morocco), January 21 The Liberation Army of the Moroccan Sahara claims to have killed 600 Spanish troops in a two-day battle, the American Associated Press reported today. According to the agency, a communique issued by the Army’s high command in Rabat last night said that the clash was at Msid and Adjir, near El Aiun, capital of the Spanish Saharan territories, a week ago. The Liberation Army is an irregular military force which has never come under the control of King Mohammed V.
