NEW ELECTRIC-POWER SUB-STATION AT BROMLEY.—The State Hydro-electric Department's new 66,000-volt substation at Cuthbert's road. The sub-station, which will be completed before this winter, will assist the Municipal Electricity Department to handle its growing load in the eastern part of Christchurch.
