Three million Guatemalans went to the polls today for the second time within three months to choose a new President and a new Government.
After the assassination of President Castillo Armas last July, the .Government was led by a VicePresident till a new election set for October ended in violent clashes between rival factions, and the result was annulled.
Today, Guatemala is making another attempt to carry out the democratic processes of a free election. It can choose between three parties.
