FRENCH BATHYSCAPE TO EXPLORE PACIFIC.—The F.N.R.3, a French bathyscape, which will explore the Pacific Ocean about the shores of Japan during the spring. The F.N.R.3 holds the record for deep-sea exploration with a dive of more than two and a half miles off Dakar in 1954.
