Mitchell, of Hutt, will meet In a mile race at Trafalgar Park. Nelson, on Saturday, when it is possible that four minutes for the distance will be broken for the first time in ' New Zealand. If the four-minute j mile time is broken, it will also i create a new world grass track re-1 cord The Trafalgar Park grass track Is in fine order at present. Halberg ran the mile on a grass track, last February in New Zealand. in 4mfn laec. with Scott second in 4min I.2sec. Halberg has already said he considers Trafalgar Park the fastest track he has run on. The other four runners in the mile will be R. A Ward (Hutt). D. M. Taylor (Marlborough). K. Williams fCanterbvrv). and M. G. < Wellington).
