Miss D. Chapman To Be A Delegate
Miss Daphne Chapman, of Christchurch, who is now attending an advanced leadership training seminar in Melbourne, has received news of her appointment as a representative of the International Federation of Business and Professional Women’s Clubs to the United Nations Status of Women Commission, to be held in Geneva in March. At this commission, Miss Ruth Romlinstm, a former chairman of the United Nations committee of the International Federation of Business and Professional Women’s Clubs, will represent the organisation in Britain. Miss Romlinson received the federation’s first United Nations fellowship.
Miss Chapman will also represent the federation at the tenth anniversary session of the United Nations Commission on Human Rights, ‘which will now be held in New York instead of Paris. She will later attend a board meeting of the International Federation of Business and Professional Women’s Clubs in Mannheim, Western Germany, in May.
