CURRENT NOTES
After a complimentary concert organised by the tournament committee of the New Zealand Bowling Association, the president of the association (Mr S. L. Hall) entertained tournament committee members and their wives and members of the New Zealand Bowling Council and their wives at a supper party at the National Party rooms, last evening. Mr and Mrs Hall received about 80 guests at the party and Mr W. Grace (Auckland) entertained with pianoforte items.
Many persons analyse character by the interior of other women’s handbags. Don’t let shabby change purses, soiled powder puffs, dirty combs, and last year’s bills —considerably frayed at the edges—tell unattractive stories about you. Clean out the bag every few days. If you have more than one, alternate to give each bag a rest.
