Malvern Club’s Events At Prebbleton
The following are the results of races held by the Malvern Greyhound Racing Club over an oval drag hare track of 510 yards at Prebbleton Domain:—
Maiden flat—First race. J. Walsh’s Kerr’s Reach 1, All Red 2, Kerry Lad 3. Time, 33sec. Second race: Kerr’s Reach 1, All Red 2. Kerry Lad 3. Time, 32sec.
Novice flat—First race: A. and D. Flutey’s Valvet’s Best 1, Sambo’s Pet 2. Dusky Cinders 3. Time. 30sec. Second race: Velvet’s Best 1. Time, 31sec.
Limit flat—First race: A. and C. Skinner’s Thp Joker 1, Black Light 2, Fardreams 3. Time. 29sec (track record). Second race: The Joker 1. Fardreams 2, Black Light 3. Time, 30.5 sec.
Puppy flat (12 to 18 months) —First race: E. Gray and E. Grimes’s Ce Le 1. Red Rover 2 Lady Susan 3. Time. 31.2 sec. Second race: Ce Le 1, Silver Phantom 2. Kleudr 3. Time, 30sec. Open Hurdles—J. Walsh’s Amigo 1, King Shannon 2. William Tell 3.
Open Flat—A. and D. Flutey’s Black Velvet 1. Amigo 2. Wanderlust 3. Time. 30sec.
Occupational Therapy.— ln part one of the State examinations for occupational therapy, consisting of sections 1. 2, and 3. the name of Miss Wilma Diane Hirst was omitted from the telegraphed list. Miss Hirst passed with honours in anatomy and physiology, and also with honours in psychology and handcrafts.—(P.A.)
