Nehru And Siroky Call For End (N.Z. Press Association—Copyright > (Rec. 7 p.m.) NEW DELHI. Jan. 5 The Indian Prime Minister (Mr Nehru) and the Prime Minister of Czechoslovakia (Mr Viliam Siroky) called today for an immediate cessation of nuclear tests as a first step towards disarmament In a joint communique the two Prime Ministers also urged toplevel meetings on disarmament. The communique was issued after two days of talks on the world situation between the two leaders The Prime Ministers said the cessation of nuclear tests would “create that atmosphere in which progress can be made towards a generally agreed scheme of dis armament and abandonment of the use and production of weapons of mass destruction.”
