BRABIN SHIELD TOURNEY Close Result Possible

Canterbury, the leading team after two matches of the Brabin Shield colts’ cricket tournament, is in difficulties in its final match, and Wellington, its opponent, may share the lead when the tournament proper tomorrow. Auckland, too, has a chance of a first innings win over Otago, and in this event Canterbury, Wellington and Auckland would be t|ed in the lead. The shield would then be decided on averages. Mr G. L.
