Foreign To Operate H (Bee. 11.15 p.m.) Ml JAKARTA, The Government a nation-wide broadcast more foreign aviation had been given rights to operSr services to Indonesia. * The Information Ministry statement did not name the companies, which would apparently help to replace the K.L.M. Royal Dutch Airlines Europe-Indonesia service, closed down recently by an Indonesian Government order. The Ministry told the people the Government was doing “everything possible to surmount the difficulties which cropped up following the launching of the West Irian struggle.” After mentioning that ships 'yere being chartered from abroad, the Ministry said: “The Government has also given permission to other foreign aviation companies to extend their services to Indonesia.”
On food, the Ministry said the Government had accelerated the import of rice for distribution among the islands.
