DISTRIBUTION OF DINNERS

Christmas dinners numbering 233 were prepared by the Good Neighbour Service and delivered this year They included special Christmas dinners for diabetics, reported the North Canterbury Red Cross Centre. Each parcel contained a Christmas dinner, Christmas cake, fruit. Christmas pudding, eggs, and tea. Thirty-two cars were needed for
the delivery of the dinners which wlnt to many parts of the city Mlny persons assisted in the eflfort. Firms gave generous gifts of (goods and several persons gave cakes and gifts.
