The Australians won i a gruelling game, played on a greasy field, before a crowd of 15.000 J Outplayed by a lively side for Ifrng periods, the Australians held grimly to a half-time lead of 5-3. j The second half was scoreless and dominated by the combined side. For the Australians, -J. Thornett scored a try and R. Harivey converted. For Neath-Aberavon, D. Crowley scored a try. ■
