Scientists in Skirts.— The idea that a scientist in a skirt produced inferior work to that of one in long pants is “nonsense,” according to the Director of the Science and Technology Careers Bureau at Melbourne, Mr W. E. Purnell. Brain and aptitude, not sex, determined success in t,he fields of science and technology, he said.— Melbourne, December 26.
