Dangerous Crackers

Sir, —Having previously read of the stupid crackers (made by an English firm) containing a poisonous substance, I think there should be an inquiry into the matter here. I sent a warning note to the mother of a family as she told me they had received a box of bon bons. Fortunately they did not contain the dangerous material complained of. If these things contain dangerous materials the fact should be stated on the box in large print.—Yours, etc., GRANDPARENT. December 27, 1957.
