THE FLOOD-BREACHED MAIN SOUTH RAILWAY LINE AT RAKAIA.—The Rakaia river was- yesterday in its highest flood for 18 years. Flood waters breached the main railway line, between the railway bridge and the overhead bridge, and then flowed across the Main South road to a depth of more than two feet.
