Sn. Your 'orrespondenl. “Twenty-lour/' raised a very interesting pdint in his letter on tubeless tyres. In a recent Court case it was implied that th®. tyreß in question were generally unsafe. Twelve months ago along with four friends I made an overland journey from Britain to India in the course of which we travelled over some of the worst roads in existence. The car. heavily overloaded, was fitted with tubeless tyres, and for 12,000 miles we can boast of not one blow-out, and for the whole journey we. were trouble-free as far as the tyres were concerned. — Yours, etc., LESLIE JONES.
