GLASSES WITH NO BASE.—As a suggestion for Christmas by Christofle, of Paris, come glasses that cannot be put down until the'contents are finished. There is no base to stand them on the table, and once filled, must be held in the hand until emptied. The young woman is drinking from a full glass with an empty one standing upside down beside her.
