Canterbury Club’s Last Field Day When the final field trial of the year was held at McLean’s Island by the Canterbury Gun Dor Club on Sunday, the event •U’asmainly for women handlers The Storey Cup for women handlers was won by Mrs J. W. Stanton with Dalkey Sharon, and she handled the dog exceptionally well. Mrs W H Bird handled Dalkey Shane very canably to finish a close second, and Mrs M. Hoxman gave a sound display to finish third. Competitors did not complete the course in the Aulsebrook Shield event, which was not restricted to women handlers. Results were:— Storey Challenge Cup (Mr H. Cox. judge).—Mrs J W Stanton’s springer spaniel. Dalkev Sharon. 176 points. 1: Mrs W H Bird’s springer spaniel Dalkey Shane 174. 2: Mrs M.
