SECOND DAY PROSPECTS
(From Our Own Reporter) GREYROUTH. December 2. Her Ex, which was not tested to win the Hannan Memorial Handicap today, should again be the hardest to beat in the Anniversary Handicap, principal event and first leg of the double on the second day of the Greymouth Jockey Club’s summer meeting at Omoto on Wednesday. She has been rehandicapped 101 b for that success and Desert Cloud, which will meet her on 71b better terms, should again be her strongest challenger. Chellene, Beau Revere and County Fermanagh are other likely prospects in the field. The second leg will be the Ahaura Hack Handicap, one mile and a quarter. Seascrape, a decisive winner today, should again test the best of his rivals. He is still weighted at 9-0 on an 81b lower minimum, but with the exception of Stentor, runner-up today, few among the light-weights appeal.
